How do I delete a Published registry?
Deleting a published registry is a 2-step process. We do not allow deleting the registry straight away as a safe guard and to protect user data.
1) Archive Registry
First you need to Archive the Published Registry.
2) Delete Registry
Once the Wedding or Event is passed or the Home is purchased, the Registry may be deleted from the Archived view.
It's recommended to put some delay between Archive and Delete, in case the User needs access again. For example, we recommend Archiving the registry at least until they purchase their home. It's doubtful that underwriting will need data from the registry after a lengthy period, especially longer than 60 days+, but it's helpful to the Loan Officer, Lender, or Mortgage Broker to see what was raised and to store contact data.
